It was announced at the last BlizzCon that there will be Challenge Modes in Legion. However, Blizzard likes to keep us on the edge of our seats. Even though they have released the way challenge modes will work, we have yet no idea what kind of rewards they will have. It is even too early to say if Challenge Modes will be worth the effort in Legion.
Without going too much into details (you get them on their official blog), it seems that Blizzard has decided to create an incrementing difficulty scheme for Challenge Modes. In other words, the more you play, the more difficult it gets, the more rewards you get.
This has the potential to be extremely interesting. On the other hand, this type of game play can become extremely frustrating.
To conclude, wow challenge modes are about getting a challenge, and we are ready for it no matter what. We can't wait for Legion to come out and discover what they have in store.
As a foreword, we are glad that Blizzard has listened to us gamers and understood that removing challenge modes all together would be a mistake. Thank you Blizzard for continuing to provide a great gaming experience to your fans for more than a decade!
